Oscar Higueros
A Cayucos firefighter was arrested Thursday for rape, sodomy and oral copulation by force or fear.
After a short investigation into reports of child abuse, San Luis Obispo Sheriff deputies arrested Oscar Higueros, Jr., 38. Neighbors said Hiqueros had been involved in a romantic relationship with an underage girl.
Higueros is a paid volunteer firefighter with the Cayucos Fire Department, according to a sheriff’s department press release.
Deputies arrested Higueros on three felony counts and booked him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. His bail is set at $1 million.
