Water gushed out of a San Luis Obispo fire hydrant Sunday after a motor home dislodged from a tow truck and crashed into the hydrant. [Tribune]
The truck was towing the motor home in the 200 block of Tank Farm Road Sunday afternoon when the trailer dislodged and rammed into the fire hydrant. San Luis Obispo police and firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 1 p.m.
Police said it was unclear why the motor home dislodged from the tow truck.
A city worker fixed the hydrant within a half hour of responders arriving. No injuries occurred in the incident.
