Amid unrest and multiple wars, the average price for gas surged in San Luis Obispo County last week jumping 16 cents to $6.35 a gallon, according to AAA. At $6.19, the average price for a gallon of gas is currently 16 cents less in Santa Barbara County.
“Crude oil remains high, averaging $100 per barrel amid continued volatility in the Strait of Hormuz.” according to AAA.
In California, the average price for a gallon of gas rose 17 cents to $6.15 last week. Nationally, gas prices jumped 16 cents to $4.47 a gallon.
SLO County currently has the seventh highest price for gas in the state. Listing the highest average price, Mono County’s price for a gallon of regular gasoline this week is $7.11. Sutter County boasts the lowest average cost at $5.84 a gallon.

I saw a sticker on a gas pump in Morro Bay that had a picture of a grinning Trump pointing at the price and saying “I did that”. It was almost identical to another sticker I saw 5 years ago with Biden doing the same thing. Ironic
