Experiencing a landing gear malfunction, the pilot of a small, single-engine plane landed the Cesna 152 on its belly Monday evening.
Shortly before 8 p.m., the emergency landing left one person suffering from minor injuries. The pilot and passenger were able to safely exit the plane.
Airport staff closed the runway for approximately an hour. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the emergency landing.

Cessna 152’s don’t land on their belly because their wheels are not retractable. I think the accident aircraft was Mooney M20.
Could be a 182…and a typo.
