A panga boat beached north of San Simeon Monday afternoon.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a panga landing around 5 p.m. Monday.
Deputies, State Parks rangers and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the location and found an abandoned boat and some narcotics.
The unloading of the boat appeared to have been interrupted, but investigators have not identified any suspects.
No arrests have occurred.
The boat was the fifth panga to beach in San Luis Obispo County in 2013.
