San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for an armed man who robbed an Oceano vegetable stand on Sunday.
At about 2 p.m., the robber stopped his bicycle at the Hayashi Vegetable Stand, pulled out a handgun and ordered the clerk to hand over his cell phone and cash from the register. The man then got back on his bike and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s. He was riding a black beach cruiser with black spokes and chrome handlebars.
