The County wasted no time after committing to affordable housing to begin allocating millions of tax payer dollars over to the affordable housing developers to build apartments for 1.5 to 2 times the cost.
I think if I have owned a lot in Cambria for the last 30 years and this came up I'd be looking for other property owners and get a lawsuit started, and then start digging to see who is getting paid off.

Or providing housing for public employees because as we now know public employees like Cassandra DeSpain , though making nearly $75,000 in compensation, still qualifies for Section 8 low income housing. We all know the "Employer"(the taxpayers) for these public employees is certainly not paying less than needed.

That will make the people who have owned vacant lots for years and years feel wonderful! Every time a government subsidizes "Low income housing" all they are doing is letting employers pay less than what is needed to retain their employees.

There is either enough water or there isn't enough water? What is it? A SFR doesn't qualify for a permit because of the drought which I would take to mean there isn't enough water. But, if you call it affordable all of a sudden there is enough water? So I guess the course to take is to submit your building permit to the County and label you SFR as an affordable house since you can afford it? Problem solved.
